Twenty Twelve
John Morton wrote and directed the BBC show Twenty Twelve, which is a comedy. The show, which stars Hugh Bonneville, Jessica Hynes, and Amelia Bullmore, is a fake on-location documentary about how the London Summer Olympics of 2012 were put together. It was first shown on BBC Four in the UK in March 2011. This was when the countdown to the opening ceremony was at 500 days. Twenty Twelve got mostly good reviews from critics, and on April 15, 2011, a four-part second season was announced. It began airing on BBC Two on March 30, 2012. On July 10, 2012, three more episodes of the second season began to air. The last episode of the series aired on July 24, 2012, three days before the opening ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
