The Love Boat
The Love Boat is a American television series set on a cruise ship, which aired on the ABC Television Network from September 24, 1977, until May 2-4, 1986. The series surfaced Gavin MacLeod because the ship's captain. It was a portion of ABC Saturday night line up that comprised Fantasy Island until that series ended in 1984.
The original 1976 movie on which the series was established was itself dependent on the nonfiction book The Love Boats from Jeraldine Saunders, a reallife cruise manager. Two TV movies would follow along with the show began its run.
The executive producer for the show was Aaron Spelling, who produced several powerful series for ABC from the 1960s into the 1980s.
Back in 1997, the episode with department names"Hidden Treasure","Picture from the Past", and"Ace's Salary" was ranked No. 82 on TV Guide's 100 Greatest Episodes of All Time. The Love Boat conducted for 10 seasons.
