Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo
The fourth iteration of the Scooby-Doo cartoon that was produced by Hanna-Barbera for the Saturday morning cartoon slot on their slate was a thirty-minute version of the original Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo show. As a half-hour program, it debuted on ABC on September 22, 1979, and lasted for only that network's 1979–1980 television season. There were a total of sixteen episodes created for the show. It was the final cartoon series produced by Hanna-Barbera that made use of the studio's laugh track. The show is being replayed on Boomerang, a vintage channel on Cartoon Network.
