Perfect Strangers
Perfect Strangers is an American comedy that aired on ABC from March25, 1986 to August6, 1993. The sitcom, created by Dale McRaven, follows Larry Appleton, a midwestern American, and his distant cousin from Eastern Mediterranean Europe, Balki Bartokomous. Originally aired on Tuesdays for the six-episode inaugural season in the spring of1986, it was moved to Wednesdays in prime time in the fall of 1986. It was held on Wednesdays until March1988, when it was relocated to Fridays. The show found a home as the anchor for ABC's initial TGIF Friday-night lineup, while it briefly ran on Saturdays in 1992.
