Mad Dogs
Dogs can be a humor and psychological thriller tv set created. It is produced by Left Bank Images, and co-produced from Palma Images. The show stars Marc Warren, John Simm, Max Beesley, also Philip Glenister as friends and four long-time getting together in a villa in Majorca to observe these friend Alvo's retirement. But after Alvo is killed, the group end up trapped in the world of crime and police corruption.
The show was initially a narrative about a rock band, but shifted after a feeling that rings have been"done to death". British Sky Broadcasting commissioned the show, after gaining attention from several terrestrial networks. Filming took place on location throughout the island of Majorca in May 2010, and required around 44 days and four million euros to make. The main themes are friendship and growing elderly. Glenister said it is about ageing and"becoming closer to departure". Photographer David LaChapelle led three ads for its series. Mad Dogs started with 1.61 million audiences, the 17th highest ranked programme for Sky1, and brought positive reactions from critics. They noticed similarities more chiefly the 2000 film Sexy Beast.
