Laverne & Shirley

The American sitcom Laverne & Shirley ran on ABC from January 27, 1976, to May 10, 1983. Penny Marshall played Laverne De Fazio, and Cindy Williams played Shirley Feeney. Both were single women who lived together and worked as bottlecappers in a made-up Milwaukee brewery called "Shotz Brewery." The two main characters were introduced on Happy Days as friends of Fonzie, so the show was a spin-off from that show. Set in about the same time period, the timeline began around 1958, when the series started, and ended in 1967, when it ended. Like Happy Days, it was made by Paramount Television and created by Garry Marshall. Garry Marshall, Edward K. Milkis, and Thomas L. Miller were the show's executive producers.
