Kick
Kick is a Australian tv series which was first broadcast June 2007 on SBS TV. It's set in Brunswick at Melbourne, Australia. The series follows the adventures of wild twenty-something Mi Ki Mavros who's forced to go in with her Greek-Australian parents Hope Street after a failed attempt to"make it big". Miki begins are a secretary for suave Anglo-Indian Dr. Joe Mangeshkar, with a girlfriend named Jan, and things spiral out of control. A neighbourhood soccer team, hence the series title Kick is managed by Mi-ki.
The show also follows the adventures of Miki's neighbours on Hope Street, for example the Salim family, a Lebanese-Australian Muslim family having allies Amen, Osama"Ozzie", Taghred and Layla. Amen can be a aspiring entrepreneur with integrity. Osama is going right through typical teenage angst and has a beat Taghred's friend Tatiana. Taghred is a football superstar. Layla is when Layla falls for fencer Jackie, but everything changes.
