Jam
Jam is just really a British black comedy series created, written and directed by Chris Morris, and has been broadcast on Channel 4 throughout April 2000 and March. It was based on the sooner BBC Radio 1 series and contains a collection of sketches unfolding within a nearby sound track.
The radio soundtracks were reused by A number of the sketches with the celebrities lip-synching their lines, an unusual technique which added to the unsettling setting of the programme.
The throw, which comprised people who Morris had worked with on his sooner TV job such as The Day Today and Brass Eye, included Amelia Bullmore, David Cann, Julia Davis, Kevin Eldon and Mark Heap, as well as occasional appearances out of Morris himself. It had been composed by Chris Morris and Peter Baynham, using additional substance contributed by Jane Bussmann, David Quantick, Graham Linehan, Arthur Mathews and the throw.
