Jackass
Jackass is an American reality show that aired on MTV from 2000 to 2002 and featured people performing dangerous, crude self-injuring stunts and pranks. The show launched the television and acting careers of Bam Margera, Steve-O, and Johnny Knoxville, who had previously only had a few minor roles. MTV corporate sibling Paramount Pictures has produced and released three Jackass films since 2002, continuing the franchise after its run on television. Viva La Bam, Wildboyz, Homewrecker, Dr. Steve-O, and Blastazoid were all spin-offs from the show. The show was ranked #68 on Entertainment Weekly's list of "New TV Classics."
