Throughout the introduction of his friend Danma Ryuji, Onizuka Eikichi, the prior mythical bike gang member, visits Meishu Academy to tend to the trees from the garden because a part-time gardener. Learning that Yoshikawa Noboru, a student in the class of teacher Fuyutsuki Azusa will be calmed by Uehara Kyoko along with additional classmates, Onizuka be-friends and saves Yoshikawa. Seeing Onizuka's unprecedented but visceral, powerful reaction to problemsolving, Sakurai Yoshiko, the institution's president and principal, overrides immunity and makes Onizuka an instructor. Onizuka proceeds to tackle issues as the teacher in charge of the class.
