Linda La Hughes (Kathy Burke) shares a Level with Tom Farrell (James Dreyfus). Linda is perhaps not especially attractive, loudmouthed and also obese. She thinks she is irrestible and gorgeous , yet. She is also sex obsessed and angry with men. Tom is an aspiring actor. He's got a real estate agent, but finds it difficult to acquire parts. He does not enjoy Linda much, notwithstanding (or because of) the very fact they share a flat. She is familiar with his homosexuality, perhaps because she finds it tough to live with a guy who does not find her sexually attractive.
