Freddy's Nightmares
Freddy's Nightmares is an horror anthology series, which aired in syndication in October 1988. A spinoff from the Nightmare on Elm Street series premiered by Freddy Krueger. This format is essentially the same as that employed The Twilight Zone, Tales from the Crypt, or by Alfred Hitchcock Presents. Tobe Hooper directed the pilot episode, also begins with Freddy Krueger's acquittal of their child-murdering charges due to his officer's shortage of estimating that the Miranda warning at the right time of Freddy's arrest. A mob of parents corners Freddy in an energy plant, leading to law enforcement torching him, dying and gaining his recognizable visage.
New Line Television produced the series. It had been distributed by Lorimar-Telepictures. But, Warner Bros.. After acquiring Lorimar-Telepictures, Tv will assume syndication rights.
