Thirty years ago a strange phenomenon referred to as a"spacequake" devastated the guts of Eurasia, claiming the lives of 150 million people. Since then, the world plagues in an irregular basis. Shido Itsuka, a seemingly ordinary high schooler comes across a mysterious girl at the ground zero of a spacequake and finds she's one of those"Spirits" who are the real cause of this spacequakes that occur if they manifest themselves at the earth. He's recruited to use his cryptic ability to seal the Spirits' powers from being a threat to mankind preventing them. But, there is a catch: to seal Spirit's power, he has to get her fall in love with him and kiss him.
