Crossroads
Crossroads is a British television soap opera set at a literary motel near Birmingham, England. Created by Hazel Adair and Peter Ling, the firm ITV system broadcast the series between 1964 and 1988. Produced by ATV and after by Central it became a byword for production values, especially in the 1970s and early 1980s. Carlton Television in 2001 revived at a more glossy version the series, however, was cancelled in 2003.
The first theme song was written by Tony Hatch, also included in Wings Paul McCartney & in their 1975 album Venus and Mars. A fresh edition, which was first aired in 1987 if the series had been re launched as Crossroads was first written by Raf Ravenscroft along with Max Early.
