Captain Flamingo
The adventures of the show's protagonist and primary character, Milo Powell, are chronicled in the animated television series Captain Flamingo, which originates in Canada. The television series was created by Atomic Cartoons, Breakthrough Films & Television, The Heroic Film Company, and PASI Animation. It made its debut on YTV in Canada on February 7, 2006, and it is currently broadcast on Jetix in the United Kingdom, Nicktoons in Australia, and ABC in the United States. The show was originally scheduled to make its debut on JETIX in the United States in 2007, but due to a change in Toon Disney's programming schedule, it actually debuted on January 28, 2008 at 8:30 in the morning. After being taken off the Toon Disney schedule on August 12, 2008, Captain Flamingo made his triumphant return on September 2 at 5:30 in the morning. When Toon Disney was renamed Disney XD on February 13, 2009, Captain Flamingo was pulled from the schedule once more, and it hasn't been broadcast in the United States since then. The age of the protagonist is never given, however they are considered to be young. He does not possess any noteworthy superpowers but rather has a strong desire to assist "little youngsters" who are in need. His so-called "super powers" manifest themselves as various kinds of novelty goods, such as a whoopee cushion, for example. Although reruns are no longer broadcast on YTV, they are still broadcast on the Nickelodeon channel in Canada at this time.
