Brass Eye
Brass Eye is a UK tv series of information magazines. A string of six episodes aired on Channel 4 in 1997, and also a further episode in 2001.
The show Was Made by Chris Morris, also composed by David Quantick Morris, Peter Baynham, Jane Bussmann, Arthur Mathews and Graham Linehan. The series was led by Michael Cumming. It ended up being a sequel to both Morris's earlier spoof news programmes On The Day and the Hour Today. It satirised networking portrayal of social ills, in particular sensationalism and creation of moral panics. The series starred Morris's The Day to Day colleague Doon MacKichan and Gina McKee, Mark Heap, Simon Pegg, Julia Davis and Kevin Eldon.
