Barrier Master

Yellow Tanabe wrote and drew the supernatural manga series Kekkaishi. From 2003 until 2011, it was serialized in Shogakukan's manga magazine Shnen Sunday, and Viz Media licensed it for an English-language distribution in North America. Sunrise adapted it into a fifty-two episode anime series that aired between October 2006 and February 2008. Yoshimori Sumimura and Tokine Yukimura, heirs to opposing kekkai lineages, must protect their school from ghosts drawn to its hallowed territory. Kekkaishi won the Shogakukan Manga Award for shnen manga in 2007.
