Angry Boys
Angry Boys is a Australian tv mockumentary series compiled by and starring Chris Lilley. Reaching the mockumentary style of his former show, the series explores the problems faced by young males in the 21st century -- their influences, their stresses, their fantasies and ambitions. In Angry Boys, Lilley plays with multiple personalities: S.mouse, an American rapper. Jen. A winner, blake Oakfield. Ruth"Gran" Sims, a protector at a juvenile detention centre. And her grand children, South Australian twins Daniel and Nathan Sims.
The show is really a Co Production between US cable channel HBO along with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation along with a pre-sale at the Great Britain to BBC Three. Filmed at Melbourne, Los Angeles and Tokyo, Angry Boys premièred on 11 May 2011.
