Whisky Galore!

Based on a real story. The name of the boat, that spanned Feb 5 1941 - during WWII - had been S/S Politician. Having left Liverpool two days earlier, heading for Jamaica, it sank outside Eriskay containing 250,000 bottles of whisky. The natives gathered as many bottles as they could, until the proper police arrived, and to day, bottles are located in the sand or in the sea every other year.
