The Wild Heart

Michael Powell and David O. Selznick had a disagreement and went to court over the film Gone to Earth (1950). This was a re-editing of the movie. The main changes Selznick made: In this case, you could add a prologue to it. (2) Putting labels or inscriptions on things to help people understand them. (3) Putting more close-ups of Jennifer Jones on the page. A few scenes that weren't dramatic enough were also cut from the movie by the author. It's a shame that some of these were important plot points, so the story doesn't make as much sense as it did in the first place,
