The Wilby Conspiracy
Shack Twala, who has spent ten years in prison for nationalist activities, is eventually released by the South African Supreme Court, but he is soon on the run following a run-in with the police. He travels to Capetown with the help of his lawyer Rina Van Niekirk and a visiting British engineer, Jim Keogh, in the hopes of recovering a hoard of diamonds intended to fund revolutionary activities that he had entrusted to a dentist before his arrest. Major Horn of the South African State Security Bureau follows them along the route, and it quickly becomes clear that he has no intention of capturing them until they arrive at their goal.
