The Raging Tide
Bruno Felkin, a rival in the San Francisco criminal underworld, is responsible for the assassination of a rival gangster in the city. Felkin then tries to cover his tracks by reporting the murder to Homicide Lieutenant Kelsey, but his plan is unsuccessful. In order to get away, he disguises himself as a fisherman and boards a passing boat. When Bruno is out at sea, the skipper Hamil Linder treats him well and teaches him how to fish. Bruno also convinces Hamil's wayward son Carl to tend to his gambling machines. Then Carl begins to develop feelings for Connie, who is Bruno's girlfriend. The crescendo occurs during a storm at sea.
