The Legend of the Stardust Brothers
In 1985, Macoto Tezka (son of legendary manga creator Osamu Tezuka) met Haruo Chicada, a musician and TV personality who had created the soundtrack for a film that never existed: The Legend of the Stardust Brothers. Macoto was 22 years old at the time, a film student with a number of short experimental films under his belt but no feature debut, and the TEZUKA name loomed over him. Tezka then transformed this "false soundtrack" into the true story of "The Stardust Brothers," with Chicada as producer.
