The Last Man on the Moon
The 1960s has been an extraordinary time for the United States. Unburdened by post war reparations, Americans were preoccupied with different developments the game-changing space programme which put Neil Armstrong on the moon, such as NASA. Yet it had been astronauts like Eugene Cernan who paved the road that is uneven, perilous . A test pilot that dwelt to court threat, he had been recruited and 14 different men in a close process that saw them become the closest of adversaries and friends. In this environment, Cernan was with his trip also being the final lunar mission of NASA, clearly one of three men who had been sent twice to the moon. Since he looks back at what he loved and lost at Houston through the eight years, an eventful life emerges in to perspective. Director Mark Craig crafts a gently epic biography which unites the penetration of this living astronauts with other worldly moonscapes and archival footage.
