The End of St. Petersburg
The End of St. Petersburg (Russian: ??? a???-???????, translit. Konets Sankt-Peterburga) is a 1927 silent film directed by Vsevolod Pudovkin and produced by Mezhrabpom. The End of St. Petersburg, Pudovkin's film commemorating the tenth anniversary of the October Revolution, would go on to become his most recognized work and solidify his reputation as a leading Soviet montage filmmaker. With Mother(1926) and Storm Over Asia(1928), it makes up Pudovkin's'revolutionary trilogy' (1928).
