The Dark Half

Thad Beaumont is the composer of an extremely successful set of barbarous pulp thrillers written under the pseudonym of'George Stark', however when he determines to'kill-off' his or her alterego at a mock ceremony, it precipitates a series of sadistic murders fitting those within his pulp books, which are soon discovered to be the job of Stark himself. Seeking a version of the counterpart, Stark is not willing to give up the writing match -- even when this means coming after their baby and Thad's wife.
