The Black Tent
This 1956 British military film directed by Brian Desmond Hurst and starring Donald Sinden, Anthony Steel, Anna Maria Sandri, André Morell, and Donald Pleasence is a tribute to the memory of those who died fighting in World War II. It takes place in North Africa during World War II, and it was recorded on location in Libya. A British officer seeks refuge with a group of Arab Bedouins during the British withdrawal across Libya. He ends up marrying the daughter of the chief. The fact that he may still be alive in Libya is discovered later on, and his younger brother, who had previously assumed he was dead, sets off on a quest to locate him.
