The Barcelona Vampiress

At the turn of the twentieth century, Barcelona is essentially two cities coexisting next to one another. The first one is aristocratic and representative of modernism, whereas the second one is squalid and repulsive. The news of the disappearance of Teresa Guitart, the young daughter of a wealthy family, sends shockwaves throughout the entirety of the nation. Enriqueta Marti, a woman who is also referred to as "The Barcelona Vampiress," is quickly identified as a suspect by the authorities. The journalist Sebastia Comas makes the decision to walk into the Raval neighborhood's labyrinth of streets, brothels, and secrets. There, he will discover the terrible reality surrounding the kidnappings and grotesque deaths of children that the Vampiress is accused of have committed.
