Nomad: In the Footsteps of Bruce Chatwin
Werner Herzog, who had worked with and been a close friend to the great writer and explorer Bruce Chatwin, paid one last visit to say goodbye to him as he passed away from AIDS. Herzog was given the knapsack that had been carried by Chatwin on his travels across the world as a farewell present. After thirty years, Herzog finally embarks on his own adventure, taking the rucksack with him. He was motivated to do so by Chatwin's enthusiasm for the nomadic lifestyle.
