Eyeborgs
Are the surveillance cameras installed by the government to ensure our safety actually murdering people? Is it a government scheme to repress the opposition, or have our terrorist adversaries covertly taken control of our security system and are now using it against us? After another major terrorist attack, the United States implements a comprehensive surveillance program in which every camera in the country is connected to a single, all-seeing network known as the ODIN system (for Optical Defense Intelligence Network). The system consists of millions of mobile, robotic surveillance cameras known as "Eyeborgs" that monitor everyone for suspicious activity in the interest of security, law enforcement, and protecting the safety of the United States. A Department of Homeland Security agent becomes suspicious of the system following a string of bizarre killings in which the physical evidence does not match the camera footage. Now he must operate outside of the system in order to determine who is in control of the Eyeborgs.
