Every Day
Ned (Liev Schreiber) is in the throes of a mid life crisis. His job as a writer on an TV show that is semi-pornographic is satisfying. His fifteen year is afraid of pretty much everything. After his wife, Jeannie (Helen Hunt), moves her sick and embittered father (Brian Dennehy) from Detroit in their house in NY, it places added stress on an already strained marriage. And when an attractive female co worker (Carla Gugino) puts the moves on Ned, the temptation sends him helplessly. Everyday is about one family's struggle to survive the unexpected curve-balls which are a portion of life. Aging and death. Commitment and freedom. Love and approval. It's an uncompromising look at a normal family making an outstanding travel towards themselves and towards eachother.
