Dinner at Eight
An ambitious New York socialite makes plans for an elaborate dinner party at the same time as her businessman husband, Oliver, is struggling to deal with financial difficulties, which causes a great deal of friction between the pair. In the meantime, their high-society acquaintances and associates, such as the rough Dan Packard and his seductive spouse, Kitty, struggle with their own entanglements, which leads to discoveries at the much-anticipated dinner.
