Birds Are Singing in Kigali

We meet with ornithologist Anna in 1994 as genocide is raging in Rwanda. Anna handles to save the girl of a colleague whose family has been murdered, and she is taken by her into Poland. But the woman contributes to Rwanda to visit the graves of her nearest and dearest. The director originally worked on the movie with her husband Krzysztof Krauze (My Nikifor -- Crystal Globe,'' KVIFF 2005), but after his passing from 2014 she finally finished this challenging picture alone.
