Atlantics

A soon-to-be-opened futuristic tower towers over a Dakar neighbourhood along the Atlantic coast. Ada, 17, has a crush on Souleiman, a young construction worker. But she has already made a commitment to another man. Souleiman and his coworkers depart the country by sea one night, hoping for a better future. A fire wrecks Ada's wedding a few days later, and a mystery sickness spreads. Ada has no idea that Souleiman has returned.
