A Night to Remember
The sinking of the Titanic is exhibited in a manner in this British play that was stressed. The disaster is depicted from the perspective of the second officer, Charles Lightoller of the sea liner. Despite numerous warnings about ice, the boat sails on, with Capt. Edward John Smith keeping it going in a steady clip. When the doomed boat hits an iceberg, both the crew and passengers discover that they lack enough life boats, and tragedy follows.
