Two Evil Eyes
Two horror segments depending on Edgar Allan Poe stories set in and around the town of Pittsburgh. "The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar" concerns a cheating wife who is trying to scam her dying husband out of countless millions with her doctor/hypnotist lover hypnotize the geezer into signing his dough to her. The older man dies while under hypnosis and can be stuck in the limbo between the here and the hereafter. The door to the actual environment is opened and the try to enter it. "Black Cat" is the story of Rodd Usher, an alcoholic photographer/artist, that descends into insanity after he murdered a stray cat that his stay-at-home girlfriend Annabelle brings dwelling. One murder leads to another, and the coverups that are intricate begin.
