Mr. Hoppy is a bashful old man who lives alone in an apartment construction. For so a long time, he was in love with Mrs. Silver, a woman who lives underneath him. Mr. Hoppy frequently leans on his balcony and exchanges polite conversation with Mrs. Silver, but he is too timid to reveal how he believes. Mr. Hoppy longs to express his own feelings Mrs. Silver, but they can not bring his lips to shape the language. Mrs. Silver includes a small pet tortoise, Alfie, whom she loves greatly . 1 morning, Mrs. Silver cites to Mr. Hoppy that even though she has received Alfie for most years, her furry friend has just grown a tiny bit and contains gained just 3 ounces in weight. She confesses she wishes she knew to create her little Alfie grown in to a larger, more tortoise. Mr. Hoppy suddenly thinks of a method to provide Mrs. Silver her wish and then win her affection.
