Pat and Mike
Pat Pemberton is an exceptionally gifted athlete, except when her dominating fiancé is present. The ladies golf title is within her grasp until she is thrown into a loop by his presence on the last holes. He wants them to marry and forget about it all, but she is not so easily convinced. She recruits Mike Conovan, a little sketchy sports promoter, to assist her. They face mobsters, a jealous boxer, and a growing mutual attraction as they work together.
