Sybil Wren is being sued for libel after authoring a tell-all book about her time spent dancing with the troupe "Barry Nichols and Les Girls." The lawsuit alleges that Wren defamed her fellow dancer Angele. The story is told in the Rashomon manner, which presents the events from the perspectives of three different people: Sybil accuses Angele of having an affair with Barry, while Angele maintains that it was actually Sybil who was having the affair with Barry. At long last, Barry tells the tale from his point of view.
